31-year old woman held for stabbing another

A woman is facing charges after a stabbing in Oshawa.

On Saturday, February 21, around 8:20 pm, members of Central West Division responded to an armed person call at a residence in the area of Simcoe Street North and Niagara Drive.

Police arrived on scene and located a female suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre in serious but non-life-threatening condition.

Officers determined that a second female in the residence was responsible for the stabbing and took her into custody without incident.

The 31-year old woman from Oshawa was held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
