Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said there were no serious injuries in a collision between a school bus and a dump truck.
The incident happened in Whitby.
There were 40 children on board the school bus at the time of the collision.
“Collision between dump truck and school bus at Dryden Blvd. and Brock St. N. in Whitby,” said a police tweet yesterday.
“40 kids on board, thankfully no serious injuries. Please avoid this area as we continue our investigation,” it added.
