A 73-year-old Pickering male has been charged with sexual assault charges involving a minor.
The DRPS Sexual Assault Unit commenced an investigation in April of 2021 after a victim came forward with allegations of a sexual nature against the suspect. This sexual assault occurred on December 31, 2020, in Whitby.
Investigators arrested and charged Rene CABILDO, age 73 of Pickering with: Sexual Assault; Sexual Interference and Forcible Confinement. He was released on an Undertaking.
The victim is known to the suspect. Investigators want to ensure there are no other victims.
