Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said a motorcycle driver had to be taken to hospital following a serious crash.
“Serious collision involving a motorcycle and vehicle. Motorcycle operator sustained life-threatening injuries and taken to a Toronto trauma hospital. Occurred at 4 pm,” DRPS tweeted.
It said Regional Road 8 between Uxbridge Concession Road 3 and Mill Run Gate in Uxbridge,had to be closed for the invesigation..
Meanwhile, Oshawa Fire Services reported another incident.
“Crews assisting Paramedics and DRPS with victim removal from biking accident in the Cavendish/Wilson area,” it said in a tweet.
