Durham police investigators have confirmed that the missing 36-year-old Ajax male was located deceased in Toronto area.
The investigation is still ongoing, they added.
Durham police earlier reported that the missing male was last seen leaving his Ajax residence last Thursday at about 3 pm. He left in a motor vehicle and did not returned home. He made a stop in York Region after his departure from home and had not made any contact with his family since. His family have concerns for his well-being, police said.
