Police looking into suspicious fire in Oshawa

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at an apartment on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa Wednesday night.

On Wednesday, November, 18, 2020, at approximately 9:00 p.m., members of Central West Division assisted at a fire call at an apartment at 1700 Simcoe Street in Oshawa. Numerous residents had to be evacuated from the building. Oshawa Fire Services were able to extinguish the fire. Fire investigators deemed the incident suspicious and the Fire Marshal was contacted for further investigation. No injuries were reported.
