Look out Oshawa! Changes to your work route

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Taunton Road East, on Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2) and on on Harmony Road North (Regional Road 33) in the City of Oshawa.

When: November 23 to December 11. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where:

  • Taunton Road East, 300 metres west of Wilson Road, in Oshawa.
  • Harmony Road North (Regional Road 33)
  • Simcoe Street North, 200 metres south of Beatrice Street, in Oshawa.

Why: Construction of water and sewer to support new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews.
