Durham Police said two males are facing charges following a drug investigation in Pickering.
On Thursday, October 17, members of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), concluded an investigation and executed search warrants on several vehicles and two residences. As officers were executing a search warrant in the area of Kingston Road and Orchard Valley Court, in Pickering, they located three suspects in one of the vehicles.
The suspects fled on foot as officers were attempting to arrest them. After a brief foot pursuit, all three suspects were arrested a short distance away. Numerous drugs were located and seized from the Pickering residence, said police.
A male, age 24 and a male, age 31 from Pickering were both charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
Police did not say what happened to the third suspect.
