One male and one female have been arrested after a robbery at a convenience store in Oshawa.
On Tuesday, December 9 around 6:10 pm, members of Central East Division responded to a robbery at a convenience store in the area of Ritson Road North and Taunton Road East.
The suspects entered the store and attempted to conceal merchandise. When confronted by an employee, the male suspect assaulted the employee, stole items, and fled the premises.
The employee sustained minor injuries as a result, police said.
Police located the suspects a short distance away at which time they were placed in custody without incident. The suspects are one male aged 19 from Ajax and one female aged 16 from Oshawa.
