Westmore Poleline and Electric, working on behalf of Elexicon, will be replacing two hydro poles on Sunday, January 18, between 8 am and 4 pm in the Township of Scugog.
The pole locations are at Water Street, between units 164 and 166 209 Queen Street private parking lot, said a township statement.
During this time, the work area will see various intermittent traffic stoppages, parking space usage, and pedestrian traffic control. This helps ensure the safety of the public and the workers, it said.
Harmony Trail Closure
Yesterday Oshawa announced the part closure of Harmony Trail from King Street East to Bond Street East.
The closure was forced due to flooding
Oshawa said the trail will remain closed until weather and creek conditions improve.
