Midtown Mall Pedestrian Bridge over Oshawa Creek between Midtown Mall parking lot and Queen Street is temporarily closed until further notice.
The reason has not be made public but the City of Oshawa website states that it’s for “public safety”.
A map is attached for the detour routes set up.
The city of Oshawa apologized for any inconvenience this may cause.

Most recently the Ontario Works Office at 200 John Street West, Midtown Mall, Oshawa, was temporarily closed due to flooding.
Durham Region was advising residents that the Ontario Works Office will remain closed this week to allow for cleaning and repairs due to flooding.
A temporary fix was set up on the second floor of 200 John Street West to access limited supports.
Ontario Works services and supports can also be accessed at Durham Region Headquarters at 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby.
