Weapons-ban man carries fake gun to hospital emergency

A male is facing several charges after making threats with an imitation firearm at a hospital in Oshawa.

On Wednesday, February 11, around 8:35 pm, members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call at Lakeridge Health Oshawa located at 1 Hospital Court.

Two males were involved in a verbal altercation outside of the emergency department entrance, when one of the males brandished a firearm and made threats, police said.
