Durham Region Health Department yesterday said 496 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the region since February 29.
The count on April 15 had stood at 456 cases.
Of the total cases, 24 are hospitalized. There have been 37 deaths. Recoveries number 166.
Durham Health yesterday updated the community-wide breakdown with the highest number of cases [138] in Pickering followed by 135 in Ajax and 106 in Oshawa.
