Lane restrictions on Taunton Road until the summer

Durham Region is advising residents of lane restrictions on Taunton Road (Regional Road 4) in the Municipality of Clarington, due to road reconstruction.

The restrictions are ongoing and are projected to last until the summer of this year. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule, the region said.

It said restrictions are in place on Taunton Road from east of Townline Road to west of Enfield Road (Regional Road 34).

Lane restrictions on Thickson Road North

The Region also announced lane restrictions on Thickson Road North (Regional Road 26) in the Village of Brooklin, in the Town of Whitby.

These too are ongoing and are expected to end by April 30.

Lane restrictions will be in place from Carnwith Drive East to Baldwin Street North, in Brooklin, to safely install a watermain in support of new development, the region said.
