Aggravated assault suspects told to surrender

Durham Police investigators have identified two suspects wanted in an aggravated assault case in Oshawa.

Investigators have issued a warrant for their arrest after a 29-year-old male was located in an Oshawa residence with serious injuries on February 7. The victim was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre.

George Andrews, age 28 of Pickering, is wanted for Aggravated Assault and Fail to Comply with Probation Order. He is described as male, black, 5’1″, medium build, green eyes.

Derrell Caprietta, age 21 of Whitby, is wanted for Aggravated Assault. He is described as male, black, 5’11” tall, medium build, black hair past his ears.

Investigators encourage the accused parties to contact a lawyer and turn themselves in.

Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to contact D/Cst. Reeves of the Central West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1825.
