Caught doing 103 kmh, 99 kmh, 96 kmh in 50-kmh zones

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) announced 456 traffic tickets were issued in the first dozen days of February.

In a Roadway Safety Campaign launched by DRPS Central East Division, officers stopped three drivers for doing 96 kmh, 99 kmh and 103 kmh in 50 kmh zones.

Officers also issued 15 tickets for Distracted Driving.

“Slow down and drive according to road and weather conditions,” said a DRPS tweet.

Meanwhile, the East Division announced 429 provincial offences between February 8-12. It issued 118 cautions.
