The Town of Ajax has broken ground signalling the start of work on an industrial park on the 129 acres of vacant land located within the town’s prestige employment lands.
The property is located at the southeast corner of Rossland Road East and Salem Road North, said a town’s statement.
Proposed development consists of four buildings for warehouse/distribution purposes. The building sizes range from 173, 878.68 sqft to 1,324,569 sqft.
The largest building is proposed to be located on the north half of the site, with the remaining buildings on the south half.
Earthwork activity is underway on the north end of the site.
The construction of this facility is projected to be completed in late summer or early fall of 2021 and is being developed by Blackwood Partners under Site Plan Application SP1/20.
