Durham Police investigators, in an update on the sexual assault incident that occurred on July 13 in Ajax, said the victim knew the suspect.
Further investigation has revealed that this was not a stranger sexual assault and the victim had met the suspect online, said a police statement issued yesterday.
The suspect description has also been updated: male, black, in his 30s, 5’6″ to 5’7″ tall with a medium to large build. He was driving a black newer model sedan, similar to a Honda Accord.
