Become a member of Heritage Oshawa committee

Oshawa is seeking application from residents to become a member of the Heritage Oshawa committee.

The resident-member will be required to attend monthly meetings and contribute to committee work related to heritage conservation of buildings. The term is to November 2020.

“The appointment of Oshawa citizens to committees… give the public an opportunity to volunteer their skills and time to deal with various issues associated with our city,” said a media release.

“City Council will consider the names of Oshawa citizens who wish to stand for appointment. An application form must be completed and is available at City Clerk Services, City Hall, Fifth Floor, Rundle Tower, 50 Centre Street South, Oshawa or visit our website at www.oshawa.ca (News & Alerts).

The deadline for receipt of completed application forms is 4:30 pm, Friday, March 20. Applicants will be contacted for an interview.
