Bell to build five new 5G+ towers across Durham

Bell has invested in large scale expansions and enhancements of their wireless service across the Durham region, expected to be completed by early 2026.

The plan includes building new towers and upgrading existing infrastructure to deliver better coverage, faster speeds and more reliable connectivity to customers using Bells 5G+ network.

The planned updates are for Uxbridge, Pickering, Oshawa, Whitby and Bowmanville areas. They include:

-A new tower built in each community
-Enhanced coverage and performance
-Faster download speeds and higher-quality video calls

These upgrades are part of Bell’s ongoing commitment to connect Canadians wherever they live and work. Work is already underway, and improvements will continue into 2026.
