Whitby: The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department has announced a weekend road closure on Champlain Avenue (Regional Road 25), in Whitby.
When: Saturday, September 7 from 6pm to Monday, September 9 at 6 am. Exact times are approximate.
Where: Champlain Avenue, from 100 metres east of Thickson Road (Regional Road 26) to 700 metres east of Thickson Road, in Whitby.
Why: To create a safe working environment for an upcoming road alignment.
Note: Detour signs will be posted. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
