Clarington driver sends DRPS officer to hospital

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said one of its officers was injured in an incident in Oshawa.

Minor injuries to the DRPS Central East Division officer, said a DRPS tweet.

The officer was taken to hospital.

An 18-year-old Clarington driver was charged with Red Light-Fail to Stop, it added.

The incident happened at King Street and Simcoe Street in Downtown Oshawa.
