Clarington Tourism to implement ambassador program

As summer approaches and the pandemic-related restrictions ease, Clarington Tourism is poised to connect visitors and residents with the community, local businesses and events.

Through crafted and targeted social media campaigns and advertisements, Clarington Tourism will continue to inform, educate and engage visitors, residents and stakeholders on what the community has to offer, said a statement.

In 2021, Clarington Tourism adopted an ambassador toolkit offered by Central Counties Tourism. Staff will use the toolkit as the basis of a made-in-Clarington ambassador program that will be implemented at our community facilities and centres, where residents and visitors can find the hub of all tourism information with our prominent displays.

“Our knowledgeable staff ambassadors will continue to be trained and provide the first point of contact for residents and visitors wanting to experience Clarington and create lasting memories,” said the statement.
