Seniors Community Grant Program deadline extended

Organizations have one extra week to submit applications

Toronto: The Government of Ontario is extending the deadline for applications to its Seniors Community Grant program by one week due to high demand.

The application portal will now close on Friday, July 5 at 5 pm.

“The Seniors Community Grant program is an important way for local communities to deliver supports and programs for seniors,” said Raymond Cho, Minister for Seniors and Accessibility. “Today’s extension will help to ensure we give applicants the support they need to keep seniors connected to their communities through this popular program.”

Seniors in Ontario want to remain healthy, active and socially connected within their own communities. Ontario is protecting what matters most to our seniors by providing funding for projects that will provide local supports and services for seniors.

Quick Facts:

  • By 2023, there will be 3 million Ontarians over the age of 65.
