Durham Region Health Department yesterday said it has had 111 cases of Covid-19 reported since February 29.
On March 30, the number of covid-19 cases in Durham stood at 99.
Of the 111 cases, 21 people are hospitalized.
There have been 5 deaths so far, of which two have occurred in long-term care homes. To date, there have been 9 people diagnosed with Covid-19 who have recovered from their illness, Durham Health said.
