Durham Health yesterday posted 2 new Covid-19 cases for July 10, taking the region’s tally to 25,278 since the count began on February 29, 2020. One case was reported in Brock and the other seems to have been adjusted from the ‘unknown’ list.
Durham’s overall death toll stands at 374, with 218 of them occurring in LTCs.
Recoveries stand at 24,864. However, there are 40 active covid cases. Three cases are hospitalized with one in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and 37 people in home isolation.
Durham Health reported the highest number of covid cases so far in Ajax.
There were:

- None in Ajax
- None in Whitby
- None in Oshawa
- None in Clarington
- None in Uxbridge
- None in Scugog
- One in Brock
Covid Deaths: 374
Of the 117 reported deaths in Pickering, 87 were in LTC
Of the 67 reported deaths in Ajax, 33 were in LTC
Of the 59 reported deaths in Whitby, 30 in LTC
Of the 62 reported deaths in Oshawa, 34 were in LTC
23 deaths were reported in Clarington [none in LTC]
26 deaths were reported in Uxbridge, 20 in LTC
17 deaths have been reported in Scugog, 14 in LTC
3 deaths have been reported in Brock
