Quick and decisive action yesterday by a Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officer saved the life of a man in Clarington yesterday.
A police tweet yesterday explained that an Acting Sergeant from DRPS East Division performed CPR on a male who had overdosed on Liberty Street in Bowmanville.
She continued life saving measures until EMS arrived, the tweet said.
Narcan was administered and the male was revived and taken to hospital.
“Great teamwork by all our emergency services involved,” said the tweet.
Police don’t get enough credit for all the good things they do.
