Weapons, cocaine seized in Oshawa raids

A Durham police investigation into cocaine trafficking in Oshawa has resulted in six arrests, over $70,000 in cocaine and six guns.

Over the past two nights, members of the Drug Enforcement Unit, with assistance of the Gun and Gang Enforcement Unit, concluded Project Porch, which targeted cocaine trafficking in Oshawa, police said..

The investigation resulted in the execution of five search warrants, six arrests, 27 criminal charges and the seizure of $77,200 in cocaine, cutting agent, four handguns, two long guns and ammunition, said a media release.

Frank Borelli, age 26, of Windsor Street in Oshawa is charged with: Possession of a Loaded Firearm and six additional firearm offences; Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x2; and Trafficking in a Schedule I Substance.

Bonnie Maillet, age 35, of Windsor Street in Oshawa is charged with: Possession of a Loaded Firearm and six additional firearm offences; and Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Kendall Mandley-Byer, age 22, of Celina Street in Oshawa is charged with: and three additional firearms offences; and Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x2.

Todd Bryan, age 27, of Devon Avenue in Oshawa is charged with: Trafficking a Restricted Firearm and Transfer a Restricted Weapon Without Authorization.

Jordan La Rose, age 26, of Cricklewood Drive in Oshawa and Michael Chamberlain, age 28, of Wilson Road South in Oshawa are both charged with: Possession of a Schedule I Substance.
