Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said that a driver took out a street sign, but failed to remain on the scene.
The location was not mentioned in the brief police tweet.
It did, however, say that the driver left behind some car parts.
Roads are slick due to the light rain. Some driver learnt the hard way. Took out street signs and took off. Fail to Remain. Please drive according to weather conditions, said the DRPS tweet.
