On the day (August 24) when the new service improvement were due to come into force, Durham Region Transit (DRT) suddenly announced that it needed “more time to get it right”.
“Due to unexpected deployment issues, the August 24 service change has been postponed. Current service levels will be in place until further notice,” said a DRT statement.
It did not give any further details.
No details were forthcoming on the new On-Demand app that was due to be launched yesterday.
