Local MP Erin O’Toole new leader of Conservatives

All eyes are now on Local Member of Parliament Erin O’Toole, who last night won the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada.

The party has lost the last two national elections, and it is now up to O’Toole to steer the party towards victory in the next polls.

O’Toole has been at the forefront of the Conservative Party leadership, acting for long as its shadow Foreign Minister.

In exclusive interviews with Durham Post, O’Toole had said his first priority on the foreign relations front would be to build better bridges with the USA, China and India (read below).

Congratulations started pouring in as soon as the leadership results were announced.
