Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) received multiple reports of a dump truck speeding in the hamlet of Solina last week.
When officers investigated, they found a dump truck traveling 91 kmh in a 50 kmh zone, said a police statement.
The 24-year old driver was charged with stunt driving, speeding, careless driving and failing to pull to the right for an emergency vehicle.
The dump truck was impounded for 14 days and the driver’s licence suspended for 30 days.
