Durham Region Health Department yesterday said there have been 933 cases of Covid-19 reported in the region since February 29.
Yesterday [April 28], the count had stood at 923 cases.
Of the total cases, 36 are hospitalized, of which three are in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
There have been 103 deaths, of which 86 were in long term care homes. Recoveries number 450.
Durham Health yesterday updated the overall community-wide covid breakdown. The highest number of cases at 351 were in Pickering followed by 252 in Ajax and 151 in Oshawa.
