Durham Region Health Department yesterday said 300 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the region since February 29.
The count on April 8 had stood at 277 cases.
Of the total cases, 32 are hospitalized. There have been 19 deaths. Eighty-three people have recovered fully.
Durham Health yesterday updated the community-wide breakdown with the highest number of cases [89] in Oshawa followed by 77 in Ajax and 46 in Pickering.
