Durham Region Health Department yesterday said 277 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the region since February 29.
The count on April 7 had stood at 266 cases.
Of the total cases, 32 are hospitalized. There have been 18 deaths. Seventy-three people have recovered fully.
Durham Health yesterday updated the community-wide breakdown with the highest number of cases [81] in Oshawa followed by 70 in Ajax and 42 in Whitby.
