Durham Region Health Department yesterday said 266 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the region since February 29.
The count on April 6 had stood at 244 cases.
Of the total cases, 35 are hospitalized. There have been 18 deaths. Fifty-five people have recovered fully.
Durham Health yesterday updated the community-wide breakdown with the highest number of cases [77] in Oshawa followed by 67 in Ajax and 41 in Whitby.
