Durham Region Health Department yesterday said 757 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the region since February 29.
The count on April 21 had stood at 712 cases.
Of the total covid cases, 26 are hospitalized. There have been 74 deaths, of which 61 were in long term care homes. Recoveries number 278.
Durham Health yesterday updated the community-wide breakdown with the highest number of cases [279] in Pickering followed by 207 in Ajax and 132 in Oshawa.
