Durham Region Health Department yesterday said 712 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the region since February 29.
The count on April 20 had stood at 672 cases.
Of the total cases, 26 are hospitalized, of which 10 are in Intensive Care Unit (ICU). There have been 66 deaths. Recoveries number 255.
Durham Health yesterday updated the community-wide breakdown with the highest number of cases [250] in Pickering followed by 197 in Ajax and 130 in Oshawa.
