Durham Region Health Department yesterday said 672 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the region since February 29.
The count on April 19 had stood at 621 cases.
Of the total cases, 27 are hospitalized. There have been 59 deaths. Recoveries number 243.
Durham Health yesterday updated the community-wide breakdown with the highest number of cases [236] in Pickering followed by 181 in Ajax and 123 in Oshawa.
