Durham Region Health Department yesterday said 621 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the region since February 29.
The count on April 18 had stood at 568 cases.
Of the total cases, 25 are hospitalized. There have been 51 deaths. Recoveries number 233.
Durham Health yesterday updated the community-wide breakdown with the highest number of cases [208] in Pickering followed by 164 in Ajax and 119 in Oshawa.
