Durham Region Health Department yesterday said 568 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the region since February 29.
The count on April 17 had stood at 531 cases.
Of the total cases, 27 are hospitalized. There have been 47 deaths. Recoveries number 208.
Durham Health yesterday updated the community-wide breakdown with the highest number of cases [180] in Pickering followed by 151 in Ajax and 112 in Oshawa.
