Durham Region Health Department yesterday said 875 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the region since February 29.
The count on April 25 had stood at 836 cases.
Of the total covid cases, 35 are hospitalized, of which three are in Intensive Care Unit (ICU). There have been 93 deaths, of which 77 were in long term care homes. Recoveries number 382.
Durham Health yesterday updated the community-wide breakdown with the highest number of cases [331] in Pickering followed by 236 in Ajax and 146 in Oshawa.
