Durham Health yesterday added 425 new Covid-19 cases from April 19 to April 21, taking the region’s tally to 59,239 since the count began on February 29, 2020.
The total case count had stood at 50,241 in January, 53,117 in February and 56,061 in March.
Durham Health also added one more covid deaths bring the overall death toll to 471.
March toll in the region stood at seven. Twenty-three people died from covid in February, and 31 in January.
