Female inappropriately touched in North Oshawa

Investigators are looking for a suspect after a woman was inappropriately touched by an unknown male in a park in North Oshawa.

On Wednesday, July 3 at 11:40 am, the 23-year-old victim was walking on a forest path on the north side of Beatrice Street East between Ritson Road North and Mary Street North, when an unknown male approached her from behind and grabbed her inappropriately.

The female ran to a nearby business and police were contacted immediately. It is not known which direction the male fled. The victim was not physically harmed during this incident.

The victim was not able to get a description of the male as he had approached her from behind and she was fearful to turn around as she fled.
