Durham Police investigators are asking the public to help identify three suspects in an armed street-level robbery, which occurred Sunday morning in Whitby.
On January 26 at 1:30 am, members of Central West Division were called to the area of Raglan Street in Whitby after a food delivery driver was robbed at knifepoint, said a police media release.
The male victim was making a food delivery and was approached by three unknown males who made a demand for his property while holding a knife to his neck. The suspects then got in the victim’s vehicle and drove away in a black Volkswagen in a southbound direction.
The victim suffered minor injuries after being dragged for a short distance, police said.
The three suspects are described as male, black, all between 5’5″ to 5’7″ with thin builds. They appeared to be 22-25 years of age. They wore dark clothing. One was armed with a large knife.
