Four people, three men and one woman, attempting to break into a sea container in Ajax are now facing charges according to DRPS.
On Friday, May 22, at around 8:55 am, members of the West Division Community Response Unit, with the assistance of frontline officers, were conducting proactive patrols in the area of Commercial Avenue and Hunt Street.
Two persons were seen entering a secured container. Officers checked the container and located four individuals inside, who were all taken into custody without incident.
A search of the four suspects located break-in tools, cash, weapons, ammunition, and drugs, including: fentanyl, MDMA, and cocaine.
A 41-year old man from Pickering and a 47-year old man of no-fixed address were on weapons prohibition conditions at the time of their arrest..
The other two suspects were a 30-year old man from Oshawa and a 38-year old woman of no-fixed address.
