Police officers were joined by community members yesterday at ‘Take Back the Walk’ event organized by Durham Regional Police Services (DRPS).
“It was great to see so many people out today participating in the ‘Take Back the Walk’ event in response to the brutal attack of a Whitby woman in July,” said Whitby Mayor Don Mitchell.
Durham Regional Police Service tweeted: “Officers & community came out to “Take Back the Walk” today in support of the woman who was attacked.”
