The Town of Ajax has once again opened applications to its Corporate Giving Program: the Ajax Partnership Fund (APF) for another year.
The town said the fund provides opportunities for organizations and individuals to partner with the town on strategic events, initiatives, and projects. These partnerships will help successful applicants make a positive difference for residents and the community of Ajax.
From August 26 to October 14, applicants can submit proposals to the town through an online form. Proposals will be evaluated by the town to ensure eligibility and the best use of the funding. To qualify, all applicants must meet a minimum of three of the below criteria:
- Located in Ajax or provide services to Ajax residents
- Offer benefits to the community
- Clearly align with the town’s strategic goals and priorities
- Accessible and welcoming to the public
- Provide meaningful avenues for town recognition and partnership
In addition, applicants must not be associated with organizations that do not align with town values or are otherwise ineligible (ex. political parties).
Charities, community organizations, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, as well as unorganized groups may submit a proposal to apply for funding. Proposals must meet several criteria as determined by the town to be considered for funding. Funding is not guaranteed even if the criteria are met. Decisions are expected to be announced December 1, so those that are interested and don’t want to miss out on an opportunity to make a difference in the community, are encouraged to apply early at ajax.ca/partnershipfund.
