Durham police are searching for three suspects after they broke into two storage containers and stole tools.
Last December 27 at about 6 am, three suspects broke into two locked metal storage containers in the area of Sandy Beach Road and Bayly Street in Pickering. The suspects, two males and one female, stole numerous landscaping tools including Dewalt equipment.
The suspects staged the stolen tools in a nearby hydro field before later returning and retrieving them, possibly with the assistance of a white van, police said.
The first suspect is described as: female, White, with long blonde hair. She was wearing a white scarf, black trench-style coat, dark pants, and red/black sneakers.
The second suspect is described as: male. He was wearing a black balaclava, blue Adidas jacket, white hoodie, black pants, and brown boots.
The third suspect is described as: male, White, with a moustache. He was wearing a backpack, headlamp, blue toque, dark grey coat, black hoodie, black pants, and white/black sneakers.
