A 24-year-old male has suffered serious injuries after a collision with a dump truck in Uxbridge.
Police said on Wednesday, September 4 at about 12:20 am, members from North Division responded to motor vehicle roll-over on Regional Road 47 near Paisley Lane.
A black Honda CRV was eastbound on Regional Road 47 when it reportedly crossed the center line and struck a westbound dump truck. The Honda rolled over after the impact.
The driver of the Honda was transported to a Toronto-area trauma hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the dump truck was not injured and remained on scene where he cooperated with police.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
